Domenica 29 marzo alle 18.00 la Galleria Marconi di Cupra Marittima presenta la personale di Sabrina Muzi a cura di Claudio Libero Pisano, dopo il successo dell’esposizione di Marco Bernacchia e Francesca Gentili.
La mostra conclude il ciclo Marche Centro d’Arte ed è il quinto appuntamento della rassegna Gallerista sull’orlo di una crisi di nervi.
Con la personale di Sabrina Muzi si conclude Marche Centro d’Arte. Lo scopo della rassegna è mostrare la vivacità delle produzioni artistiche presenti nella regione, una regione in cui convivono pluralità e singolarità, a partire dallo stesso nome. Ogni artista ha una sua peculiarità, e un suo percorso di ricerca, ha una voce che unendosi alle altre del territorio, dà vita a un mosaico ricco, vivo e vivace.
“La ricerca di Sabrina Muzi continua con un ulteriore passaggio nella direzione di un rapporto mai episodico tra sé e la natura. Utilizza diversi mezzi che concorrono allo stesso fine. Video, foto e disegni hanno lo scopo di sottolineare un unico messaggio dove sempre più intima diventa la condivisione con l’elemento naturale. Sia quando è il suo corpo, come nel video Remote Body, che si nasconde e si perde tra i rami fino a diventare un unico elemento. Sia nelle foto, dove l’artista non compare, è evidente una relazione mai distaccata. In quegli alberi rappresentati più che l’elemento estetico traspare quasi il respiro, l’affanno della natura impressa sulla carta. E l’artista se ne fa portavoce, lascia che la sapienza tecnica e la capacità esecutiva si mettano al servizio di un messaggio circolare. Offre il suo sguardo alla natura che lo restituisce in tutta la sua potenza, bellezza e inquietudine”. (Claudio Libero Pisano)
Gallerista sull’orlo di una crisi di nervi
Il giorno dopo l’inaugurazione di una mostra il gallerista tira le somme. Le rughe si sono distese e si parla amabilmente sgranocchiando salatini e patatine. Il sorriso riempie il volto barbuto e la soddisfazione per il risultato è al centro dei suoi discorsi. Dello yeti che si aggirava con spatola, stucco e gomma magica, non è rimasto nulla. La Galleria adesso sembra il paese delle favole, dove pace e armonia regnano e le riviste sono ordinate sulla scrivania. Un attimo di pace prima della prossima inaugurazione.
All’ansia di una mostra, collaboratori di vario tipo aggiungono stress, ritardi, piccole o grandi inefficienze che un povero gallerista si trova a dover affrontare, perdendo i capelli e/o facendo diventare bianchi i pochi che gli restano. Eccolo buttarsi su massicce dosi di tachipirina per affrontare l’immancabile febbre pre-mostra, mettersi ai fornelli per preparare pasti con innumerevoli portate e quantità capaci di sfamare interi reggimenti, eccolo infine perdere l’attimo atteso ogni giorno come la manna dal cielo: il riposino pomeridiano. Una vita dura fatta dalle piccole insoddisfazioni di ogni giorno e dalle grandi soddisfazioni di ogni mese.
Gallerista sull’orlo di una crisi di nervi è l’omaggio a quella cosa bellissima ed entusiasmante che è l’organizzazione di una mostra, cosa bellissima, ma anche snervante e stancante. Ecco che aumenta il numero delle sigarette fumate fuori dalla porta, ecco che i chiodi e le viti si accumulano sul pavimento. Poi si inaugura, si parla, si ride e il giorno dopo si pulisce. Questa è la “tragica” routine che accompagna la vita di un gallerista. Ma non bisogna dimenticare però la bellezza di una mostra, il piacere di una chiacchierata con gli amici, l’emozionarsi sempre nuovo che ripaga da ogni affanno. I rapporti umani, e non solo professionali, con artisti, critici e curatori, sono il vero collante dell’attività e il motore che rende sempre nuova la voglia di andare avanti.
Solo un grazie a chi ci permette di poter seguire ed apprezzare il mondo dell’arte nel suo continuo movimento.
After the success of Marco Bernacchia and Francesca Gentili exhibition, on Sunday 29th March at 6.00 p.m. Marconi Gallery of Cupra Marittima presents Sabrina Muzi sole exposition cured by Claudio Libero Pisano. This exposition close the project Marche Centro d’Arte and it is the fifth appointment of the program An art gallery manager on the edge of a fit of nerves.
Marche Centro d’Arte closes with the sole exhibition of Sabrina Muzi. The aim of this cycle is to show the lively art productions that are in the region, a region where plurality and singularity have always met, starting from the name itself. Each artist has his own peculiarity that makes his interesting research as a kind of voice which, together with the others, coming from the same territory, realizes a rich and lively mosaic.
“The research of Sabrina Muzi goes on with another experience in the direction of a relationship between herself and the nature, which is never just an episode. She uses various means that works to reach the same aim. Video, photos and drawings want to underline a single message in which the sharing of natural elements becomes more and more intimate. A close relationship is always clear both in the photos, where the artist doesn’t appear and when it is her body that is hidden among the branches till it becomes a sole element as it is in the video Remote Body. The breathing, the worry of the nature, exposed on the paper, is what nearly appears in those represented trees, more than the aesthetic component. The artist is the spokesperson of it, she lets the technical knowing and the feasible talent be serving a circular message. She offers her glance to the nature that gives it back with all its power, beauty and worry”. (Claudio Libero Pisano)
An art manager on the edge of a fit of nerves
The day after the opening of the exposition the art gallery manager sums up. His wrinkles are now outstretched and everyone talks kindly while munching crackers and crisps. A smile fills the bearded face and the satisfaction for the result is the subject of his speeches. Nothing is left of the yeti going round with broad knife, filler and gum resin. The gallery seems a fairy world, where only peace and harmony reign while the reviews are kept in order on the desk. Just a minute of peace before the next opening.
Various collaborators add stress, lags, small/big inefficiencies which the poor art gallery manager must face, losing his hair or better getting it white old. Here he is taking large amounts of medicines to face the certain high temperature before an exposition, here he is in front of the cooker in order to prepare big amounts of meals, able to feed whole armies. Here he is, in the end, losing the daily awaited moment, as it was the manna from heaven: his afternoon snap. A hard life made of the daily small dissatisfactions and of the monthly big satisfactions.
An art gallery manager on the edge of a fit of nerves is a tribute to the very beautiful and fantastic organization of an exhibition, something very beautiful but nevertheless exhausting and tiring. Here he is increasing the number of cigarettes smoked outside the door, while nails and screws are piling up on the floor. Then the opening with all the talking, laughing and at the end the cleaning of the day after. This is the “tragic” routine in the life of a poor art gallery manager. But you shouldn’t neglect the beauty of an exposition, the pleasure of chatting with friends, the always new emotions, that repay for any worries. The human , and not only professional, relationships with the artists, critics and curators, are the real linkage of the activity and the engine that makes the will to go on always new.
